Monday night ride outs normally are split into three groups dependant on the numbers. These groups will vary in pace, Leisurely, Intermediate & Progressive. If you are a new rider or are unsure which group to join please ask any committee member or the group leader for advise on the groups pace. If in doubt join the leisurely group. then progress to the other groups as your confidence grows.

We aim to to lead safe and enjoyable rides for all members. We operate the don`t leave anyone behind policy whilst riding. That means, ensure that the rider behind has seen you turn at junctions & roundabouts. Members may ride at different paces during the ride, But as long as they wait at junctions & turns, everyone has a good ride.

  • Social and recreational motorcycle orientated events for the benefit of its members.
  • Wide variety of club runs & events including trips to shows, rallies, UK and Continental tours arranged.
 

The club meets each Monday evening (summer) at 7.00pm to depart at 7:30pm from The car park next to McDonald`s, and promotes safe and enjoyable motorcycling for its members and to the public at large. BH&DMC is a well established Club, formed in 1972, we have many years of motorcycling in Sussex and Europe.

The Club has some 70 members who enjoy going for a Club Run every Monday evening in the Sussex area and welcomes any make of motorcycle and motorcyclist of any age and ability. 

Our Club has use of St Francis Social Club, Haywards Heath, RH16 4EX in the winter months for a variety of talks etc. Past talks have included a motorcycle paramedic, ambulance crew, ex racers, motorcycle dealers, road safety experts, manufacturers and anything else to do with motorcycles & motorcycling.

The motorcycles in the Club at present are mostly modern, but not all.

We are affiliated to the British Motorcyclist Federation.

The membership cost per year is £16.00 which includes associate membership with the BMF.

Fancy a Long Weekend in France? @ Le Touquet Area

Fancy a Long Weekend
in France?

Then why not join John Illingworth and Sara, they have booked to go out to France on the Eurotunnel at 10.06 on the morning of the 28th of May (£30). They will be taking a leisurely ride down to the Le Touquet area of France. They are booked into the Kyriad le Touquet Hotel, 62630, Etaples on the D940 heading in to Le Touquet for 2 nights at a total cost of £110. They will be returning on the Eurotunnel at 17.36 on the 30th May (£30) getting in to Folkestone at 17.11. If you’re a BH&DMC member and fancy a weekend in France get yourself booked up and drop John an email so he knows you’ll be joining him.
