Club Tour 27th June to 4th July 2015
Hi All,
Just a quick note to let you know that the Channel Tunnel times are now available for the dates of the club tour. For those of you who want to join me for the ride down to our hotel in Luxemburg I am booking the 8:20am outward journey which will arrive at 9:55 local time in France. The journey time is approx. 5 hrs without stops but I will be stopping as required for fuel and nature breaks! If you wish to join us for a direct ride I will meet you at Clacket Lane services M25 for 6:00am leave time.
Please be aware I shall fill with fuel before our crossing so we can get straight off and on our way when we arrive the other side. Steve Goldsmith will be meeting us at the service station as you exit the Eurotunnel and is leading a more spirited ride down to Luxemburg if you want to join him.
I am booking the 17:20pm local time (France) for our return trip which will arrive back in Folkestone at 16:55.
If you have Tesco club card vouchers you can use them to purchase or as part payment for your booking at 3 to 1 of the value. The booking cost at present is £77 return. If you are riding with me I would ask for your booking reference once you have booked please.
John Illingworth is planning to leave at a later time to be confirmed and this will also be a spirited ride, although it is a later start time. If you want to make alternative times that is fine, it’s your holiday!

Quiz Night
Hi All,
A big thank you for those of you who attended this event which was enjoyed by all. I think I’m sure the evening winners were Phil & Ann Gregory, Jeff Cooper with help from Ann’s brother and sister-in-law.
We had a raffle during the evening with prizes donated by committee and club members and by a number of local suppliers used by some of us on the committee.
Another big thank you to SFSC for donating prizes for the raffle and a bottle of champagne for the winners. SFSC also laid on nibbles for the evening and even the bar staff participated in the quiz. The raffle raised £90 which will be donated to the league of friends of PRH.
Finally a big thank you to Keith & Caroline who were the quiz masters and score collators for the evening who also gave their time for free to support the evening. We are planning a table top treasure hunt being organised by Ann Gregory, time & date to follow soon, so please support this event if you can, it’s a case of the more the merrier!
