We have now changed our meet day to Mondays, for the 2026 riding season our regularly meet night will be Mondays, We will be meeting at at 7.00pm to depart at 7:30pm from the current Meet location of Morrisons Daily – Wivelsfield, Ditchling Rd, Wivelsfield, Haywards Heath RH17 7RF

For the 2026 riding season we would like you to indicate your preferred day.

We changed our regular day due to many venues closing early or not open on Mondays. We have tried this and now want to give you the members the choice on which day. Additionally to the vote you can suggest locations to ride to and socialise at. 

The Poll will close on the 25th November 2 days before our AGM.

The Poll is now closed results with be published at the AGM.

Your location suggestion

Historically we have chosen Pubs to ride to, We normally try to find locations through the year that are typically around no more than 15-20 miles away from Burgess Hill, we then plan routes for around 1hrs ride. We also take into account the direction of travel throughout the year to avoid riding into the sun. Please do add your suggestion of locations for Monday or Wednesday night ride outs.

This years AGM will be held at the Burgess Hill Constitutional Club on the 27th November.

The Clubs AGM is a meeting to allow members to have an input in the running and activities the club provides. Please do support this meeting with your attendance. It is great to hear feedback and suggestions from members to allow the committee to be able to support and organise events that members want to attend.

This year we have arranged the use of the Conservative club at Burgess Hill.

Starting at 8pm.

Get your FREE club Snood by attending the AGM.

We have club snoods, help keep the draft and bugs out. While supporting the club

Snoods are available at £6.50 after the AGM.

BH&DMC Pizza, Beer & Skittles Evening

INVITATION TO THE BH&DMCC PIZZA, BEER & SKITTLES EVENING

At the Bull Inn, Henfield

7.00pm for 7.30pm to finish by 11.00pm 

Its that time of year, The club is organising a skittle night at the Bull, Henfield, There will be a pizza buffet, which normally goes down very well.

Premium Pizza Buffet:

Includes a range of our top pizzas, fries, cheesy garlic
bread fingers, salad, homemade coleslaw & marinated
olives 

Partners & Guest are welcome to join you on the skittles evening. Members will get priority booking.

Due to weather the Hunt has been postponed to the 23rd October

We have arranged the annual Treasure Hunt, Hopefully the weather will be kind to us.

The treasure hunt is planned to be held (Weather permitting) on Sunday 23rd October.

This is an open to members & their family event, Including a BBQ to finish. Please could you let us know if you are planning to attend so that we can gauge numbers for the BBQ.

The BBQ is being subsides by the club, so there is no entry cost.to you. If you have a team of family members the BBQ is open to all at a cost of £3 per head on the day for non members.

We are planning Chilli, BBQ and salad for the afternoon.

Club BBQ - 20th July 2022 - 7PM

This years BBQ will be held on the 20th July, starting at 7pm, at Beacon Bikes,  London Rd, Hassocks BN6 9BQ.

We hope many of you can join us for the club BBQ, its been quite a while since the last one. This year the BBQ will be provided by Tim and his team at Beacon Bikes, just outside Aldbourne. Direction below.

The cost for the BBQ will be £15.00 per person, The club will be subsidising the cost for members by £5.00 bringing the cost to you to just £10.00. Please do let us know you can attend by filling in the form below and making a bacs payment (with your payment ref) to confirm your place.

Partners are more than welcome to join the BBQ evening at a cost of £15.00.

To help us gauge the food requirements please indicate which option you prefer, There should be plenty to go around.

Beacon Bikes is located, South of Aldbourne, After you turn into the drive to Q-leisure. There is a car park at the end of the drive.

Look to your left, and you will see a sign for Beacon Bikes, Its just up a little path next to the car park.

Thankyou for your continued support for the BH&DMC, We have started our 2022 riding season. 

It’s great to see some new members this year, we hope to have some good riding throughout 2022, The Monday night rides are a great evening out, to get a short ride in.  Details can be be found on our clubs google calendar.  Hopefully we will be able to run some weekend runs through out 2022, if you would like to ride with others feel free to post on the clubs Facebook.

I am hoping to be able to lead some weekend rides to destination this year. details will be on FB or the clubs calendar. 

If you fancy a weekend ride then post it on FB or send details to bhdmc@burgesshillmc.com and we will circulate it to members.

We hope you can find riding groups and enjoy some great roads. Do remember to ride at your pace, and wait for the rider behind at turns and junctions. This helps everyone enjoy the ride.
